3 DAY COCONUT CAKE 
Prepare 1 Duncan Hines white cake mix according to directions. Cook in 2 layers. Let the cake cool completely then cut the layers in halves.

ICING:

2 c. sugar
1 sm. cartons of sour cream
1 lg. carton of Cool Whip
14 oz. can flake coconut

Mix all the ingredients together. Use 1/2 of the coconut in the icing. Sprinkle the rest on last. You can also use pecans to decorate cake. Let this set in refrigerator for 3 days before serving. It is very important to let it set the full time.
