Bake in 2 layers and cool. Split layers and fill with (reserve 1 cup) : 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar 2 c. coconut

ICING:

1 med. carton Cool Whip
1 c. reserved filling

Sprinkle with 1 cup coconut. Cover and refrigerate 3 days.
