BRISKET 
4-5 lb. brisket, first cut
3 lg. onions, cut up
5 cloves garlic (or sm. jar of finely chopped garlic)
1 lg. jar applesauce (about 25-30 oz.)
1 bottle Kraft barbecue sauce (med. size)
1/2-1 bottle Open-Pit barbecue sauce (med. size)

Cut up carrots and cook with brisket the last hour of the cooking time. Serve with boiled or baked potatoes.

Bake 3/4 hour uncovered at 400 degrees and 2 1/2 hours covered at 325 degrees. Serves at least 10 people (depending on individual portions).
