“PECAN CANDY ROLL” IS IN:

PECAN CANDY ROLL 
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1 cup evaporated milk (Carnation)
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

Combine all ingredients except pecans; stir until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage or 236°F on candy thermometer).

Cool to room temperature without stirring.

Beat until mixture holds its shape. Knead until firm. Shape into two rolls. Roll in nuts, pressing nuts into candy. Chill.

Slice thin for serving.

Makes 36 servings.
