PECAN BARS 
Crust:

3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Filling:

4 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Grease bottom and sides of 15 x 10-inch baking pan. Prepare crust in large bowl with mixer at medium speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press firmly and evenly in pan.

Bake 20 minutes at 350°F. While crust is baking, prepare filling. In large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly over hot crust.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until set. Cool on wire rack before cutting.
