RAISIN SQUARES 
2 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water

Cook until tender in covered pan. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar and 5 tablespoons flour. Cook over low heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup nuts and 3 tablespoons lemon juice.

Make 2 crust for pie. Line square pan with crust having crust up sides. Pour raisin mixture on top. Place top crust on top. Brush on milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
