POUR-ON FROSTING 
1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Combine granulated sugar, butter, milk and salt in saucepan. Bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly. Boil vigorously 1 minute. Remove from heat; add vanilla and confectioners' sugar. Mix well. Let cool 3-4 minutes, until frosting is right consistency for cooling. Pour slowly over top of cooled cake; let run down the sides. Do not move cake until frosting is firm. Makes enough for 2 layer cake.

Note: Ideal for bundt cakes.
