HEARTY MINESTRONI SOUP | |
6 oz. turkey Italian sausage 1 c. diced onions 2 c. sliced carrots 2 c. sliced zucchini 1 c. (14 oz.) Italian tomatoes 2 c. finely chopped cabbage 4 tsp. beef bouillon 1 1/2 tsp. basil 1 (1 lb.) can Great Northern beans, drained Salt and pepper to taste Spray pan with Pam. Cut sausage into small pieces. Brown until pink color disappears. Add onions, carrots, and basil; cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes with liquid (water to = 4 cups), bouillon, cabbage, salt, and pepper. Bring soup to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes. Add beans. Cook another 20 minutes. 4 servings. 150 calories. |
