2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift dry ingredients, ending up with dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
