1 German chocolate cake mix 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk 3/4 c. butter, melted 1 bag caramels 1 c. chocolate chips 1 (6 oz.) bag pecans Grease 9x13 pan. Mix 1/3 cup milk with butter and cake mix. Save 1/4 for topping and press remainder in pan. Bake 350 degrees for 13 minutes. Melt caramels with remainder of milk. On baked crust, layer 1) chocolate chips, 2) caramel mixture, 3) pecans and 4) topping. Then bake 16-19 minutes more at 350 degrees. |
