DOUBLE FUDGE SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water
2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Cook sugar, butter and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat; immediately stir in 1 cup chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended. Combine flour, soda and salt, add to chocolate mixture.

Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and the nuts. Pour into 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely. Frost if desired. Cut into bars.
