DOUBLE FUDGE SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. or butter
2 tbsp. water
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Cook sugar, butter and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat, immediately stir in 1 cup chips, stirring until melted. Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining 1 cup chips and the nuts. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely, cut into bars. 1 1/2 dozen bars.
