BRANDIED PEACHES 
2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans peach halves
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brandy (peach preferred)
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Drain peaches, saving 1 cup of juice. Set aside. Add sugar to peach juice and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on high until heavy syrup is formed. Add brandy and almond extract. Pour over peaches and serve warm.
