BARBECUE BASTING SAUCE 
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 sm. bay leaf
3/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. liquid hot pepper season
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 c. beef stock or canned beef bouillon
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Combine ingredients in a medium size bowl, stir to mix thoroughly. Mixture should be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance so flavors can meld. It will keep for several days in the refrigerator or for longer if frozen.
