BARBECUED MEAT PATTIES 
1 1/4 lbs. ground meat
1 egg
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. tomato ketchup
2 tbsp. half and half
1 tbsp. cornstarch

SNAPP BASTING SAUCE:

Combine: 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Add: 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Dash hot pepper sauce

Stir to blend well. Add dash salt and black pepper.

PREPARATION:

1. In large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, egg and onion.

2. Add green pepper, soy sauce and ketchup.

3. Mix half and half and cornstarch. Add to meat mixture, mixing to blend.

4. Form portions of meat to even, rather thick patties.

5. Place patties on well heated barbecue grill. Broil 3-4 inches from source of heat, basting with sauce turning patties over from time to time for even browning.

6. Grill 12-15 minutes total or to your liking, time depends on how well you like your meat done.

7. Serve meat patties on hamburger buns, if you like, or with French fries. Serve remaining basting sauce alongside.
