MA'S RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
cinnamon, nutmeg or raisins - if desired

Grease a 2 quart casserole. In casserole combine rice, sugar and milk. Dot with butter.

Bake at 300°F for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and pudding is creamy. Cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg or raisins, if desired. This pudding is good served warm, but will set up and thicken as it cools.
