MEAT LOAF 
1 1/4 lb. round steak, ground
3/4 lb. pork, ground
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. quick rolled oats
3/4 to 1 c. V-8 juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients together well and put into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a moderate oven 45 minutes to 1 hour. Bacon strips may be laid across the top when the loaf is half done. Serves 6 to 8.
