RIB TICKLIN BARBECUE SAUCE 
1/2 c. light or dark Karo syrup
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. prepared mustard
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over a medium high heat. Stir frequently and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 15 minutes until sauce thickens.

SPICY SAUCE:

Add: 1 clove garlic

ORIENTAL SAUCE:

Omit Worcestershire sauce and add: 1 tsp. ground ginger
