PINEAPPLE CHEESE BALL | |
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 8 1/2 oz. crushed pineapple, well drained 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. finely chopped white onion 1 tsp. salt 2 c. chopped pecans (1 for cheese ball, 1 for coating) 4 or 5 oz. shredded cheddar cheese Combine all ingredients (reserve one cup nuts for coating). Shape into ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for several hours. Then roll ball into remaining chopped nuts. Serve with crackers, melba toast or fruit slices (apple or pear). |
