BRISKET WEST TEXAS STYLE | |
5-6 lb. brisket 3 oz. Liquid Smoke 1 1/2 tsp. celery, onion & garlic salts Worcestershire sauce Pepper (opt.) Barbecue sauce (opt.) Pour liquid smoke over brisket in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with spices, drizzle Worcestershire sauce over. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake slowly in a 275 to 300 degree oven for 5 hours. Optional: Uncover during last 1 1/2 hours of baking and cover with barbecue sauce. |
