EXTRA SPECIAL ROLLS 
4 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. hot water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. yeast

Dissolve yeast in 3 tablespoons warm water; set aside.

Put 1/2 cup shortening in 1 cup hot water and 1 teaspoon salt, mix and let cool to room temperature. Beat eggs with 1/2 cup sugar. Add water mixture to eggs, then add yeast mixture. Stir in 2 cups flour, beat well. Gradually add 2 cups flour. Place in bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Three hours before serving, roll cold dough in 2 circles, 1/4" thick. Spread with melted butter and cut in wedges. Roll wedges from wide end. Let rise and bake at 450 degrees.
