POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 bag frozen potatoes (hash browns)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. minced onions
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. American cheese, shredded
1/2 c. butter

Thaw potatoes. Mix all ingredients and place in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. When almost done, put topping on.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
2 c. crushed corn flakes or Rice Krispies

Return to oven.
