CABBAGE SOUP (GREAT FOR DIETERS) 
2 qts. water
4 c. cabbage, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
2 tbsp. onion flakes (I use Lipton dried onion mix)

Boil above for 1 hour. Add:

2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar substitute
6 peppercorns
2 c. tomato juice

Bring back to a boil and boil another hour.
