1/2 c. sweet butter, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. granulated sugar, plus additional
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. Quaker Oats, not instant
Confectioners' sugar

In large bowl with electric mixer, cream together butter, butter and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in flour and oats. Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball, place two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten the balls with the bottom of a small glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes, or until pale golden. Transfer to racks, let cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
