TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans with sausage
1 c. shredded lettuce
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. chopped green chilies
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
Nacho flavored tortilla chips
Chopped tomatoes
Sliced ripe olives
Sour cream
Taco sauce

1. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain off excess fat. Add taco mix and water. Simmer, uncovered until mixture is thickened (about 15 minutes).

2. Lightly grease bottom of an 11"x7" baking dish. Spread refried beans evenly on the bottom. Sprinkle with shredded lettuce, onion and chilies. Top with ground beef mixture. (If desired, cover and refrigerate until ready to finish.)

3. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.

4. Remove from oven and garnish with tortilla chips.

5. Serve with chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, sour cream and taco sauce in separate serving dishes. 6 servings.
