1 c. butter, softened
2 c. flour
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1 egg yolk

Mix well all together. Make small ball, put on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with fork. Put a piece of nut on top of each ball. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or just leave plain, no nut.
