MARY'S END OF GARDEN SANDWICH
SPREAD
 
12 red mangoes
12 green mangoes
4 lg. onions
12 green tomatoes
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1 c. prepared mustard
1/2 c. flour
1 qt. salad dressing

Grind vegetables. Pour boiling water over them and let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Add sugar, salt, vinegar and mustard. Cook 20 minutes. Makes a paste of flour and water. Add to vegetable mixture. Cook 10 minutes longer. Remove from fire. Add salad dressing. Mix well. Seal while hot. Makes 8 to 10 pints.
