CHOCOLATE FUDGE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening oil
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Combine in a saucepan water, shortening oil, butter and cocoa. Bring to boil. Pour over flour mixture; stir well. Beat eggs and add buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Stir well. Bake in a greased and floured deep cookie sheet (11"x12") at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. While cake is baking, prepare topping.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 lb. box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine over low heat until butter melts. Stir in confectioners' sugar, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour over hot cake as soon as cake is done.
