1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/2 c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) box white cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place in greased 9" or 10" square baking pan. Layer apples, sugar, dry cake mix. Pour melted butter over top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans, continue baking 15 minutes. Serve warm.
