"EL PASO RED" SPAGHETTI AND
MEATBALLS
 
1 can Old El Paso brand enchilada sauce (mild, for tomato-like sauce, hot for spicy sauce)
1/4 c. white vinegar
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. tarragon leaves
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
2 tsp. soy sauce

Mix above ingredients and heat until boiling, then simmer.

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. hamburger (lean)
1 tsp. powered oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic

Mix in spices with meat, then form into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Fry over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until done through. Pour off grease, transfer meatballs into spaghetti sauce, simmer for about 5 minutes more. Serve over boiled spaghetti with grated Parmesan cheese.
