NO - BOIL LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 2 c. cottage cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 1 egg 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 8 uncooked lasagne noodles 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Brown meat; drain. Add tomato sauce, salt, basil, oregano and garlic powder. Simmer 15 minutes after bringing to boil. Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg and parsley; mix well. In 11 x 7 inch glass dish, spread evenly 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce prepared above. Top with 4 uncooked noodles, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture, 1/2 mozzarella, 1 cup more tomato sauce, 4 more noodles, remaining cottage cheese, mozzarella and tomato sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven, dish covered with aluminum foil (shiny side down) for 60-70 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes for noodles to finish cooking and to let cheese set up. |
