BUTTERMILK FILLETS | |
2 to 3 lb. fish fillets (1/2 inch thick) Buttermilk Bisquick Salt to taste Vegetable oil for frying Soak fillets in buttermilk at least 30 minutes. Dredge fillets in Bisquick, shaking off excess. Deep fry fillets at 365 to 370 degrees for 3 or 4 minutes or until floating and golden. Do not overload cooker! Remove fillets to a rack to drain. Check to insure fillets are done and adjust cooking time accordingly. Salt to taste. Remove from rack and place on paper towels in a single layer. |
