SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS 
SAUCE:

14 oz. ketchup (then fill with water)
1 jar Knotts Tomato Preserves

Put in pot on top of stove.

MEAT:

3 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. onion soup mix
Shake of ketchup

Mix together; let stand about 30 minutes.

Cook sauce to easy boil. Drop in meatballs. Simmer about 2 hours. Can be made the day before. Let get cold and remove excess fat.

OPTIONAL SAUCE:

1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. sour salt
