SQUASH CASSEROLE 
6 med. summer squash (yellow or white)
1 pkg. Frito-Lay brand toasted onion dip mix
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 c. grated American cheese
1/2 c. lightly crushed Ruffles brand potato chips

Cut squash into 1/4 inch slices. Place in boiling water to which the onion dip mix and salt have been added. Cook until squash is tender. Add pepper and bacon drippings. Pour into baking dish. Top with cheese and crushed potato chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. 6 to 8 servings.
