SQUASH CASSEROLE 
6 med. yellow squash
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
4 slices white bread, toasted
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil squash until tender; mash and put aside. Brown ground meat, onion and green pepper on medium heat. Drain excess fat. Toast bread; dampen bread and break into small pieces and add to ground meat mixture. Add squash and salt and pepper and cook for about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dots of butter. Bake in 350 degree oven until crumbs are brown. Serves 4-6.
