“MARYLAND SPECIAL TURKEY STUFFING” IS IN:

MARYLAND SPECIAL TURKEY STUFFING 
2 cups chestnuts, shelled, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
2 cups raisins or Craisins
2 cups bread crumbs
1 stick butter, melted

Boil or steam the chestnuts for a few minutes; mix with the other ingredients, using enough melted butter to hold the mixture together. Use for stuffing the turkey, or bake alongside the turkey in a loaf pan covered with foil.

Serve accompanied by gravy.

This recipe may be halved to use as stuffing for chicken or multiple game hens.
