BARBEQUE BEEF 
5 lbs. beef brisket
28 oz. ketchup
32 oz. 7-Up or ginger ale

Cook in casserole dish or roaster, covered, at 300 degrees for 8 hours. Turn and stir every hour or two. Cook whole - do not cut up. Cook until most of moisture cooked out. It should fall apart. Can use fork to flake it, also. Serves 20-30.
