BAKED BEANS 
4 c. beans
1 tsp. ginger
1 chopped onion
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. mustard
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. chopped ham

Soak the beans overnight; in the morning, bring to a boil with the baking soda. Drain. Put the remaining ingredients in water and bring to a boil. Add the beans. Cook until the beans are tender.
