FRIED CORN 
1 dozen ears fresh corn or 1 can whole kernel corn
1/4 c. bacon fat or butter
1/4 c. minced parsley
1 c. chopped crisp bacon
Dash paprika
1 minced onion
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. sugar

Cut corn from cob. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and season. Add onion to fat and saute in frying pan. Add corn and cook about 20 minutes, until each grain is soft, stirring constantly. Serve with boiled turnip greens, fried chicken and corn bread.
