LIZZIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. each cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
6 c. broken nuts
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. rum flavoring

Flour fruits and nuts with 1/2 cup of the measured flour. Mix dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Add flour and liquid. Add fruit and nuts last. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 to 350 degrees until done. Makes 120 or more cookies. These are a must for Christmas.
