1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
2/3 c. cocoa
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. peanut butter chips
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Chill dough. Roll into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake 350 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
