BANANA NUT BREAD 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Mix flour, salt and soda. Add gradually to first mixture. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans or 1 (9x13 inch) pan for about 55 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool, cut in squares. Serves 24.
