BAKED CRANBERRY PUDDING | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tbsp. melted shortening 1/3 c. milk 1 sm. egg 1 c. raw cranberries 1 tsp. vanilla Sift dry ingredients. Add egg, milk and shortening. Mix well; stir in berries. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Bake in pie tin. Serve with sauce. SAUCE: Melt 1/2 cup butter. Add: 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. light cream Mix and cook over hot water (double boiler) for 5 minutes. Serve hot over wedge of pudding. |
