3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. white corn syrup
3 c. raw peanuts
2 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar, water, and syrup until it will spin a thread from a spoon. Add peanuts. Stir until syrup becomes golden brown. Remove from heat; add soda, butter and vanilla. Stir until butter melts. Pour on 2 cookie sheets with sides. As mixture hardens around edge, pull to thin. Break when cool to touch.
