BRAISED BEEF JAPANESE 
1 lb. beef tenderloin
1/4 c. butter
8 scallions or green onions
1 lg. green pepper
2 stalks celery
1/4 lb. tender green beans
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 c. beef stock or bouillon
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1. Cut beef in 1/2 inch thick strips. Pound until thin then cut in half. Saute in butter in 10 1/2 inch skillet over medium heat.

2. Add green beans cut in strips, scallions cut in quarters, green pepper in rings, celery cut in 3 inch strips and the mushrooms sliced.

3. Mix beef stock, soy sauce, paprika, sugar, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat and vegetables.
