CARAMEL APPLE SALAD | |
1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained 6 to 8 apples, diced (unpeeled) 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip 2 c. dry roasted peanuts, chopped Cook sugar, flour, eggs and lemon juice until thick; cool. Combine pineapple and Cool Whip. Stir in apples and 1 1/2 cups of peanuts, then stir in the cooled mixture. Top with remaining crushed peanuts. |
