MA - PO TOFU 
2 blocks of tofu (12 oz. each)
4 oz. ground pork
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 tbsp. hot bean sauce
1 tsp. peppercorn power
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 tsp. water
2/3 c. stock
1 tsp. sesame oil
3 c. vegetable oil for deep-frying

Cut tofu into 1/2 inch cubes; deep fry in vegetable oil for 1/2 minute. Remove all oil except 3 tablespoons and stir-fry ground pork well. Add garlic, hot bean paste, soy sauce, salt, soup stock and tofu. Boil for 3 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch paste, sprinkle with sesame oil. Place in bowl and sprinkle with peppercorn powder.
