CHEESE LOAF 
1 Pullman loaf, uncut (sandwich loaf bought at the bakery; have them cut it lengthwise 1/2 inch thick)
2 (5 oz.) jars Old English spread
1 stick butter

Remove crusts with an electric knife. Beat butter and cheese; spread on each side of each slice and then frost outside of loaf. Place on a cookie sheet; bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm; cut into slices with electric knife.
