DELIGHTFUL NUTS 
4 cups nuts
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
dash of salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Toast nuts in 300°F oven until lightly browned.

Beat egg whites; fold in sugar and salt. Beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in nuts.

Melt butter in 15x10-inch pan. Spread nut mixture over butter.

Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes, or until no butter remains in bottom of pan. Stir every 10 minutes. Cool.

Makes 20 servings.
