ORIENTAL BEEF STRIPS 
1 lb. round steak, cut in 3/4 inch strips
Cooking oil
1 c. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, sliced
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Brown meat strips in oil. Add water, soy sauce and garlic. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add vegetables, cover and continue cooking for 20 minutes.

Combine cornstarch and water. Gradually add to meat mixture stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Stir in cheese. Serve over rice.
